Taylor Knight is an award-winning journalist and joined WFSB in May of 2025. She is thrilled to join the station she grew up watching.

Taylor spent seven years covering news and sports at WWLP 22News in western Massachusetts. She started as a reporter before working her way up to weekday morning anchor. During her time in Springfield, she was also a member of the I-Team, covering major stories like the opioid crisis, a kidnapping and Amber Alert that spanned states, and crumbling concrete.

Taylor also reported live from some of the biggest sporting events in Massachusetts including the Boston Marathon, Super Bowl LIII and Tom Brady’s retirement.

Taylor won an Edward R. Murrow Award for her investigative work on police surveillance in schools. She also won a Massachusetts Broadcasters Association Sound Bite Award for her coverage of COVID changes in the region.

Taylor is excited to be back home and reporting in Connecticut. She grew up in Meriden and attended Maloney High School. She then went down to Philadelphia to attend Temple University where she got a degree in broadcast journalism.

Philadelphia is also where she became a huge Eagles fan. Go Birds! Her dog is named Lincoln after Lincoln Financial Field.
